We are now situated in Carrigaline, just 8 miles south of Cork City, easily
reached both by car and public transport. Soundproofing, Acoustic
Treatment and installation of Carrig Sound's wonderful equipment is now complete!! The studio is fully operational (though
a few cosmetic details:
spotlights, a bit of decorating etc still need to be done to make it look as
great as it sounds).
Photos of the build in progress, plus ones of Artists recording with us are now on
our new PHOTOGRAPHS webpage, with even more photos
to be added very soon!
11 WEEK 'LEARN TO MAKE MUSIC
ON YOUR COMPUTER' COURSE!!
Liam has compiled an exciting
and informative Level 1 beginner's course teaching people how to make music on
their Computer.
For the moment courses are only available fairly locally to Carrigaline, County Cork,
as Liam is teaching pupils one-to-one in their own homes. More
information will be available soon on a new COURSES
webpage. Please note there will also be Level 2 Intermediate, and Level 3
Advanced courses available in the not-so-distant future.
FTP SITE FOR MASTERING
Carrig Sound have an FTP SITE, which
means that you can simply upload your song/s via the net for Mastering. We
return them the same way, so you don't even need to step outside your front door!
If you are interested, please email us for further information and instructions
on how to do this.
Why not take us up on our FREE MASTERING OFFER, to Master half of one of your songs, so you can hear whether you like what we do BEFORE paying a cent?! With our own FTP site it's simple to send us a song, have it Mastered and download it again. Then you can compare and contrast the results in the comfort of your own home. Please note, this is a 'one-off' offer to anyone (soloist, group or band) who has not used our Mastering services before. Email us for more information.
PLUS: Carrig Sound continue to do Location Recordings for Classical, Traditional and Pop music, as well as recording poetry and speech.
The most recent collaboration is with Cork filmmakers, where Carrig Sound are working on the Post Production Sound Design for films. We continue to do Sound Design for Radio (including Radio advertisements).
WEBSITE PHOTOGRAPHS
Our apologies to Apple Mac users that our
thumbnail photographs expand to much too big a size to view properly. (Microsoft users don't have that difficulty as
they automatically
re-size all photographs for the user). Sorry if you are
experiencing this difficulty, and meanwhile we are trying to correct the
problem (please bear with us).
