Evening Classes

(Click on any image to enlarge)
Welcome to our
News Page!
We've DOUBLED our
size! We've taken over the Unit next door, and are making a massive Live Room
(with the capacity to comfortably record 60 voiced choirs and even small
orchestras), adding a separate Control Room, an Office and a private Art Studio to our already spacious
Recording Studio, giving us 2,000 square feet of
dedicated Recording Studio space! Photos above, and more can be seen on the new
Studio Expansion page!
Singer/Songwriters &
Bands Auditions We are once again auditioning Original
Singer/Songwriters (acoustic guitar/vocals) and 3 & 4 piece Bands (drums, bass,
guitar, vocals) for our current Students on the 22-weeek Sound Recording & Music Technology
Course to experience mic-ing up and recording live musicians and instruments.
As a 'Thank You' to the Singer/Songwriter and Band's patience (Students, under
the close watch of the Sound Engineer will need to take as long as necessary to
learn the correct procedures, mic positioning, volume levels etc, so delays are
inevitable), Liam will Mix & Master the Students' recording, burn it to CD and
the Singer/Songwriter and each member of the Band will get a copy free of
charge. If you are interested in having an audition, call Liam: 086 166
0338 to book an appointment.
FREE
Pre-Production Meeting!
(What is a Pre-Production Meeting?)
Visit the Studio to get a feel for the great space and listen to other recordings by Carrig
Sound.
Meet the Sound Engineer and Producer (Why have
a Producer?) to discuss all the wishes ideas
and specific requirements you have for your project. This way we can give you an
accurate quotation so you will know exactly what your project will cost before
you start.
Then when you come in to Record Mix and Master the sessions will go
smoothly and enjoyably and we can all concentrate on the most important thing -
you and your music.
Why
not take us up on our
FREE Mastering Offer!
(What is Mastering?) Mastering
half of one of your songs, so you can hear if you like
what we do BEFORE parting with any cash?!
It's simple to send us a song, have half of
it Mastered and we'll send it back. Then you can
compare and contrast the results in the comfort of your own home and on
your own speakers.
You are then under no obligation to use us, we just want to show you what we can
do.
Please note, this is a 'one-off' offer to anyone (soloist, group or band) who
has not used our Mastering services before
