This course is an introduction to Ableton & a Basic Music/Music Composition Course
It is designed for both musicians and non-musicians, and suits any genre of music.
It guarantees the students will be able to produce a piece of music by the end of the course

Duration of course:
One 2-hour lesson per week for 10 weeks 
7:00pm – 9:00pm prompt, each Tuesday evening
 A non-refundable deposit of €50 will secure your place. Any balance to be paid in advance before commencement of course
Class Size:
Minimum 5, maximum 10 (for optimum learning and plenty of hands-on experience time) If we are unable to get a minimum of 5 participants, this course may be postponed

01    Overview of Ableton, Session view & Arrangement view, create 1st drum beat
02    Create 1st Bass part, notes, length, velocity, scales
03    Create 1st chord sequence, chord voicings, counter rhythm
04    Create 1st melody line, scales & keys
05    Working with Loops and Samples
06    Arrangement view: navigating recording, organising clips
07    Playing live into Ableton using keyboard, qwerty and drum pads
08    Send fx: Reverb and Delay
09    Automation: drawing, editing and deleting
10    Mixing, Session Mixer: Audio, MIDI and group tracks
